I'm so honored to be included in the Independent Spirits: Women Artists of South Carolina exhibition at the Columbia Museum of Art in conjunction with the Georgia O'Keeffe: Her Carolina Story exhibition. My piece tome: 65 was selected to be part of the show along with three pieces from our private collection by artists Pat Callahan, Janette Grassi and Renee Rouillier.

Envisioning O'Keeffe at Columbia Collage
I'm so excited to be included in this installation at Columbia College which celebrates the time that Georgia O'Keeffe was a professor there. Each artist was given a pair of shoes and total creative freedom. The solutions are very thought provoking and celebrate the life of the most well known female artist.

Artfields 2015, Lake City, SC
Just got news that my art installation of symbols on wool panels will be exhibited in R.O.B., the old tobacco barn, during Artfields at Lake City, SC. Hope you'll be able to see this upcoming exhibition of Southeastern artists from April 24-May 2, 2015.

Have your cake and eat it too…
I was so excited to finally meet Caitlin Freeman, author of Modern Art Desserts, last night with friend Susan Livingston at the Columbia Museum of Art. I found her book on the shelves at the Irmo Branch Library and was blown away by her artful interpretations of great works of art. Got to see her create her Mondrian Cake with the help of pastry chef Leah Rosenberg and although I couldn't eat the chocolate cake, David sure devoured it when I brought my piece home to him. Check out Blue Bottle Coffee during your next visit to San Francisco and hopefully in it's new space when the SFMOMA reopens in 2016!
